Four days before Christmas our house was burglarized. As a family we decided it was time to get a watch dog that would bark and warn of us danger. We got a good watch dog but he barked at everything and everyone that passed by our house. I had to find a way to train him and stop him from barking all the time.
Fortunately one night I saw the Bark Off commercial on TV. It looked and sounded like it was just what I needed but I wasn’t sure if it would really work. I searched and found a great Bark Off review site and decided to give it a try.
I ordered it online. I was delighted at how fast it came in the mail. I read the instructions and put in the batteries and waited for Sparki, my dog, to start barking. I didn’t have to wait long. As soon as he barked I hit the button. He immediately stopped and looked around. I could see he could hear something but didn’t know where it was coming from. I didn’t hear any sounds from the Bark Off.
A few seconds after he stopped barking I turned the Bark Off off. After a few minutes the gas meter reader walked by and he started to bark. As soon as Scruffy started barking I used the Bark Off again and he stopped barking in mid bark. It was like having a remote bark on, bark off control. I couldn’t help but to laugh. I turned it off after a few seconds and he settled back down.
I decided to use it any time he started barking so I kept it with me all day. When he barked I turned it on. When he stopped barking I turned if off.
It took about three to four days of training and my dog seems to be completely trained when and when not to bark. I was really surprised at how well the Bark Off worked and how fast the training was.
I would highly recommend the Bark Off anti-barking device. It has worked wonderfully well for me. I got the two for one price and I am glad I did. I need it very much any longer but I do keep one in the house and one in my glove box to have it handy when I take my dog out in public and new places. He has learned when ever he hears that sound to stop barking.
