My kids have been asking for a pet for a very long time now, but the timing is just not right to bring a canine or cat into the house. Between full-time jobs, faculty, sports groups, homework, and taking part in with pals, there would not be enough hours within the day to commit to training, caring for, and spending time with a brand new pet or kitten. Still, I do think each child should have some kind of pet in his or her life due to the great lessons to be learned from such an experience. Goldfish are a traditional youngsters’s pet because they are notoriously straightforward to care for.
