Pets are adorable, innocent and more loyal than the human beings to a person. Same is the case with the puppies. Puppies are the most loyal of the creatures. They’re fun and they’re great. But in case, the puppy isn’t trained it is disappointing. Puppy training is the part you should adapt as soon as you get yourself a puppy. For puppies learn slowly and if they’re not trained, when they are grown up, it is quite not possible to make them learn something. The puppy training would help you learn more about puppies and dogs. You’ll get to know more about their abilities and in result of the puppy training, your puppy would be more obeying to you.
Training puppies are as important as training ones children. For tomorrow, when your puppy is a grown up and people would be praising them, it would be the owner’s success. You can make your puppy learn a lot and tomorrow, when it is a big dog it’d be able to protect you as well as it would be your most loyal friend to accompany you all the time and pay full attention to you. Basically, puppy training is a 3 phase procedural task. First one is the basic when you teach the puppy to sit, stand, run or stay. The next part is to teach the fetching and returning tasks. Lastly, the expert training is to make the puppy learn your hand signals to perform the tasks.
These were merely the main training parts; you’d be teaching the puppy in the meanwhile, you’d be training your puppy the “house-training” which would cover the in-house behaviors such as retraining the dog from contaminating the house. Training, you may provide is to be more sensuous to the atmosphere, this would be by playing the kind of games like hide and seek. Just hide something from the puppy and make him find it with his smelling sense. Make sure whatever you do, it is very procedural. Don’t just choose a hard task at the first time. Make different levels to train your puppy.
There are more training dos and don’ts. One must never make a negative reinforcement or give a harsh punishment to the puppy. The puppies do have a short term memory. He might forget what exactly he has been punished for and would take it as if you’re punishing him for something he did not even do. Instead of giving a harsh punishment or yelling only if you’d ignore your puppy a little, he would know that he did something wrong.
One must keep on praising the puppy. Praising can be done with treats or with affection and even with giving the puppy some special time. Puppies are very sensitive, they’ve greater emotions. One must really take care of the puppy’s emotion in order to make your puppy well-mannered and interactive. And don’t expect your puppy to start doing those great tricks within weeks, give it sometime. Good luck with the puppy training.
