Pets are superb, especially when they are well mannered and very obeying. Yes, the pets are also a man’s best friend. But choosing pets among the many, which one would the best? Well mannered, obeying and loyal? Yes, indeed a dog or a puppy. However, a puppy does not inherit these features by birth. They’re trained. And there training is known as puppy training. One should know that once he has a bought a puppy, he should train him the soonest he can. As if you delay, the puppy may get older with lack of manners and weaker senses, and then it’d be quite tougher to make some changes in your puppy.
If your puppy is well mannered and very obeying, it is indeed your success but what if it is the other way round? Again, it is indeed your fault. The puppy seeks some attention and requires to be trained, for its training makes the owner proud when people praise the puppy. There are numerous ways to train your puppy and there is much training you can give to your puppy. But first one is to give puppy the basic training to sit, stay and run upon your orders. And, then comes the intermediary training which would enhance the puppy’s basic abilities and teach him to fetch and return something. Finally comes the expert training, this would enable you to use the hand signals to communicate with your puppy.
These trainings do not only help the puppy to get more organized but does also enable you to make communications with your puppy. After these trainings, you’ll notice your puppy no longer gets distracted from something while you’re next to him and pays good attention to you. However, there are few more things you’d know about the puppy’s training. You should always keep positive reinforcements to your puppy. And even if it does something wrong, you should never hit the puppy instead a positive punishment such as not giving your puppy some attention would do the favor of realizing the puppy its mistake.
Once you’re through the basic and intermediary trainings, you should start giving the puppy some additional training. Of course, the first one is to the house-training, that would restrain the puppy from doing anything that would contaminate the house. Then you can give your puppy some playing trainings like the Frisbee training and the swimming training to enhance the metabolism of your puppy. The puppy training isn’t something tiring but its all fun. One can make it a work-out to play with the puppy which would help both of them to enjoy and keep themselves smart and fit.
Praising the puppy is the best part of the puppy training. Puppies are actually very emotional. You can make them do something by giving them good attention or restrain them from something by avoiding giving an attention. And yes, one must be consistent in the procedural training, there’s no way that the first day your puppy could give you all that you want from him. It’d take time and it’d be fun. Happy puppy training!
