Yorkshire terriers, or just Yorkies, are perfect dogs for those who wish to have a lively and energetic pet. These are not those calm lap doggies. The breed is exceedingly energetic, so arm yourself with patience. You (or the coach of your pet) will have to pay extra attention to some things during the training. One of the most important is water supply. Fulfilling commands Yorkies become dehydrated very quickly. Keep vigilant watch over this and give them water regularly.
Before Yorkshire terriers become 12 weeks old, they have problems with heir blood sugar limit. It must not go below the minimum. To normalize blood sugar, give them some sweetened water or syrup. If the situation stays critical show your Yorkie puppy the nearest vet.
